weighPlanRings
weighPlanRings<
Ring>(rings,spot):object[]
The cross-sections a world point reads a height off in plan, each with
its weight and the point’s metres along the track off it, the weights
summing to one. A cross-section weighs less the further across from its
line the point lies, by e for every blendMetres, so where two
stretches of the track meet, or the lines of a bend’s inside cross,
they meet at one height. It weighs less, too, the further along: within
its reach down to a tenth, so a point between two neighbours reads
mostly the nearer, and past it by e for every blendMetres more. Every
weight changes smoothly as the point moves, so no cross-section starts
or stops counting with a step, and past the track’s ends the end
cross-sections weigh most.
