maximumInputBytes
constmaximumInputBytes:96=96
The most a tick of a game’s inputs packs into across its plugins, in bytes: its buttons a bit each, rounded up to a byte, an axis a byte, a vector two and an angle two. 96 bytes hold 48 angles or 96 axes, and a tick of a walking character, a kart, abilities and a menu packs into about 12. The binary wire spends up to a byte more on an angle or a vector’s component, and a few on the list around them, so a full layout’s tick encodes to about 150 bytes, well inside a frame.
